How it works.
Four steps, from your first message to the monthly update.
Four steps.
You tell me what you need
You don't need to know anything about tech. Tell me what you want it to do, on a short call or through the quote form.
Your part about twenty minutesI send you the price
One price, in writing, before anything starts. If I'm not the right fit, I'll say so.
My part a day or twoI build it
I start once you say yes and pay the build. You usually see the first piece within a week, and you tell me what to change.
My part the first weekI keep it running
I host it, fix it and change it as your business changes. Every month you get a short update on how it's doing.
My part every monthGood to know.
Most small builds take a few weeks. Bigger ones take longer. You get a real timeline once I understand the job, and I'll tell you early if anything changes.
It's not a fit if you want a large online store with hundreds of products. If I can't help, I'll tell you before you spend anything.
I build systems that make running your business easier.
My story
A little over a year ago, I started building custom systems to solve problems in my own work.
I was tired of wasting time on repetitive tasks, jumping between different tools, and doing things manually that I knew could be automated. So I started building my own dashboards, websites, workflows, and business tools.
They worked. Really well.
They saved me time, made my work more organized, and let me focus on the things that actually mattered.
That led me to a simple question: what if I could build the same kind of systems for other business owners?
I started with friends and family, building custom dashboards, websites, automations, and internal tools for their businesses. As I saw how much time these systems could save, I turned it into a business of my own.
Today, I work with small business owners and founders to build technology around the way they actually run their business.
You don't need to be a "tech person." In fact, that's the point.
You shouldn't have to spend hours figuring out complicated software, forcing your business into someone else's CRM, or paying for five different apps just to get done what you need.
I build the system around you.
I learn how your business works, find the repetitive or frustrating parts, and build the tools, automations, websites, and workflows to make your day-to-day work simpler.
The goal is less busywork. Less jumping between apps. Less time fighting with technology. So you have more time for the work that grows your business.
I'm not here to sell you another app you don't need. I want to build something that works for you.

The terms.
- The build is paid in full when you say yes. That starts the work.
- The monthly is month to month. You can stop anytime.
- You pay your own running costs straight to the vendor, like your domain, AI usage or texting fees.
- While you're on the monthly, I host what I build. If you want to leave or own it outright, the buyout is 12 times the monthly.
- Build only is an option. I build it and hand it over to your own hosting, with no monthly.
- You pay through Stripe, by card or bank.
- I don't promise results. Each month I tell you whether it's helping, flat months included.

Common questions
No. You don't need to be a tech person. That's my job. I'll handle it and explain anything you want explained in plain words.
You usually see the first working piece within a week, built on your own business. Bigger builds keep growing from there.
A one-time build fee plus a monthly. Dashboards start at $1,000 plus $300 a month. Websites start at $500 plus $150 a month. Custom systems start at $500 plus $50 a month. Automations start at $500 plus $100 a month. Anything extra is priced before any work starts. See the pricing page, or get a quote for yours.
I measure it every month. If it isn't helping, I'll tell you, and you can stop the monthly.
Your business data is always yours. I never hold your passwords, and I never use one client's information for another.
Through Stripe, by card or bank. The build is paid in full when you say yes. The monthly is billed on the 1st, month to month.
Only running costs, which you pay directly to the vendor: your domain, about $11 to $23 a year, and, if your build uses them, AI usage, texting fees or outside tools.
Yes. You pay the build and any add-on build fees, and I hand it over to your own hosting. There's no monthly and no buyout. Add-ons that only have a monthly price need the monthly, so they're left out.
That's what the monthly is for. As your business changes, I change what I built to match.
The monthly is month to month, and the build isn't refunded once it's started. If I host it, like a website, dashboard or automation, it stays with me unless you buy it out for 12 times the monthly, as written in your agreement. A custom system runs on your own computer, so you keep using it and I stop looking after it. Your data is yours either way.
If a number is a guess, it's labeled as a guess. If something's wrong, tell me and I'll fix it.
Yes. The Demos page has all of them: six dashboards (real estate agents, home inspectors, insurance agents, HVAC, plumbing and electrical shops, contractors and mortgage lenders), six sample websites, three custom systems and six automations. They use made-up data, so click anything. Or ask me through the contact form or call or text 614-579-3044, and I'll walk you through one on a call. No charge.
Tell me how I can help.
A few quick questions. Here's what happens next:
- I reply within two business days and tell you whether I can help.
- If I can, we talk for about twenty minutes.
- Want to see one running first? Just ask. No charge.
- You get one price, in writing, before anything starts.

How I handle your information
Who I am. This site is run by Lawton Hinely, doing business as LWH Systems, in Columbus, Ohio, in the United States. You can reach me any time at lawtonhinely@gmail.com.
What you send me through the form
When you fill out the contact form or the quote form, I collect what you type: your name, your business, what you need, your answers to the quote questions, and the email or phone you give me to reply with. If you fill in the short welcome on the Demos page, I get your name and email, so I know who looked at the demos. Your note is delivered to my email through Resend, an email delivery service, so I can read it and get back to you. If sending ever fails, the page hands you your own note to copy or email directly, so nothing gets lost.
Payments
If we work together, you pay through Stripe, a payment company. Your card or bank details go to Stripe, not to me.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics tool from Vercel, the company that hosts this site. It counts pageviews and basic, anonymous information about a visit (which pages are viewed, the site you came from, and general device type and country) so I can see how many people visit and what they look at. It does not use cookies, it does not follow you across other websites, and it does not build a personal profile of you. I do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any cross-site tracking, and there are no advertising or tracking cookies.
The site stores nothing in your browser that identifies you. It keeps three small notes: whether you have paused the site's motion, a switch you set yourself, kept in local storage so it stays off; whether you have already answered or skipped the welcome on the Demos page, kept in local storage so it does not ask again (only that, never your name or email); and, for this visit only, that you have already seen the logo animation, so it does not play again. That last note is cleared when you close the tab. None of them is used to identify or track you, and none of them leaves your device.
Why I collect it
The form data is used to reply to you and, if we work together, to do that work. The analytics data is aggregate and anonymous, used only to understand overall traffic.
Who else is involved
I do not sell, rent, or trade your information. The outside services that touch it are my email provider, which receives your note so I can read it and reply, Stripe, if you pay me, and Vercel, which hosts this site and provides the analytics described above. I never reuse one person's information for another client's work.
How long I keep it
I keep what you send me while we might work together and for a reasonable time after. If you would like me to delete what you sent, email me and I will remove it.
Your choices
You can browse without filling out a form, and you can skip the welcome on the Demos page. The analytics are cookieless and anonymous, so there is no tracking cookie to opt out of. The three notes above are the only things kept in your browser, and you can clear them any time and the site still works. To have your form information removed, email lawtonhinely@gmail.com.

Changes and governing law
If this changes, I will update this page and the date below. This site and this notice are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, in the United States.
Last updated 5 October 2026. This is a plain-English summary of how I handle your information, not legal advice or a formal legal policy. If you need one of those for your own business, talk to a lawyer.
Terms.
The short version: this site describes my work, and the real terms of any job go in a written agreement.
What this site is and is not
Who you are dealing with. This site is run by Lawton Hinely, doing business as LWH Systems, in Columbus, Ohio. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
This site is here to inform
Everything here describes what I do and how I work, and I keep it current, but it is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. It is not a contract, and nothing on it commits you to anything.
Sending the form is an inquiry, not a deal
When you send the form, you are starting a conversation. You are not hiring me and you are not paying anything. Any actual work, price and terms get agreed between us in a separate written agreement first, before anything begins. That agreement, not this site, governs any work I do for you.
What I stand behind
I do not guarantee a specific result. What I stand behind is the work itself: that I build what we agree on, keep it running, and tell you how it is doing. The examples and figures shown on this site are illustrative and made up, not real client data or a promise of what you will get.
Who owns what, and my content
What I host for you, like a website, dashboard or automation, stays mine while you are on the monthly. You can buy it out for 12 times the monthly then in effect, as written into your agreement. Anything I build that runs on your own computer is yours to keep using, even if you stop. Your business data is always yours. The words, design and logo on this site are mine, so please do not copy or reuse them without asking.
Limits
To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss that comes from using this site itself, such as relying on general information here before we have a written agreement. Nothing here limits anything that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and governing law
I may update these terms, and I will change the date below when I do. These terms and any dispute about this site are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, in the United States, and belong in the courts serving Franklin County, Ohio.
Last updated 5 October 2026. This is a plain-English summary, not legal advice or a formal contract. The real terms of any work are the ones we put in writing together.
